Pam Bondi questioned by Adam Schiff, confirmation for attorney general

Today Bondi was questioned during her confirmation hearing in order to be assigned as attorney general under Trump’s administration. Below is a clip of her being questioned by Adam Schiff.

Who is Adam Schiff.

A Representative and a Senator from California.

June 22, 1960; graduated from Monte Vista High School, Danville, Calif., 1978; B.A., Stanford University, Stanford, Calif., 1982; J.D., Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass., 1985; lawyer, private practice; prosecutor, Office of the United States Attorney for the Central District of California.

1996-2001; elected as a Democrat to the eleven succeeding Congresses, until his resignation on December 8, 2024 .

Who is Pam Bondi.

Born November 17, 1965, Pam is an American attorney, lobbyist, and politician. A member of the Republican Party, she served as Florida attorney general from 2011 to 2019, the first woman elected to the office.

In 2020, Bondi was one of President Donald Trump‘s defense lawyers during his first impeachment trial. By 2024, she led the legal arm of the Trump-aligned America First Policy Institute. On November 21, 2024, president-elect Trump announced she would be nominated for United States attorney general.
