Biden-Harris Policies that Have Lead to the Increase of Child Trafficking

*Note: This article was written in 2024 while the Biden administration was in office and implemented these policies which are explained below.

The link to the information stated below is listed at the bottom of this article. This information is real and there is a link to the Homeland Security website for more details.

A national news outlet, NewsWire, has stated that The New York Times has uncovered some shocking information. The following information was found through internal government data.

This is what has been found-

A policy that the Biden Harris Administration introduced in 2023 eliminated DNA testing for sponsors or guardians of migrant children, and an  additional policy eliminated any welfare checks on these children after they were placed into custody of these guardians or sponsors .

The New York Times found internal government data that showed in one-third of child sponsor cases, “the “sponsors” could not or would not tell the government where the child was 30 days later. At the time, 85,000 children were unaccounted for.”

This policy may have increased human trafficking.

The current (Biden) administration seeks to expedite placing migrant children with sponsors or guardians, without doing backing checks on these guardians, differing from earlier practices.

This approach raises major concerns, as many of these sponsors or guardians might not have the children’s best interests at heart. During her term as vice president, Kamala Harris has added a new policy that has eliminated DNA testing of the guardians of migrant kids.

This policy may have increased  human trafficking.

The lack of DNA testing and no physical check ups on these children means that those guardians of these children may include traffickers posing as sponsors.

Reports indicate that many of the guardians acting as sponsors may actually be part of human trafficking networks. Former employees of the Department of Health and Human Services have expressed alarm over this reality.

The number of missing children in the U.S. raises significant concerns.

“HHS data suggests that as the unaccompanied minors program has grown, so has the sex-trafficking problem. Data obtained by The Free Press via a Freedom of Information Act request show that the number of children who the government is aware have escaped from sex traffickers has grown by 426% since 2020.

Those numbers include only children who are successfully rescued from sex traffickers. The Free Press tagged along with a nonprofit called Shepherd’s Watch, which works to stop the sex trafficking of minors. Its leader said “Nearly all of my sex-trafficking rings now are migrant girls. The ads exploded within the first three months of the border being open.”

In 2019, Kamala Harris introduced a bill to prevent the deportation of migrant adults, not use background checks to identify potential threats, including sex traffickers and child abusers.

The bill was turned down by Kamala’s fellow Democrats, saying that the bill was too extreme. Her bill included not doing background checks on the unknown, potential sponsors or guardians of these displaces kids.

Concerns Raised by DHS – Department of Homeland Security

In August of 2024, the Department of Homeland Security reported that there are about 300,000 unaccompanied children missing.

There is a big concern: without any oversight from the government, these children go missing, migrant children face risks of trafficking, exploitation, and forced labor, exposing ongoing challenges in the immigration system.

“Data obtained by The Free Press via a Freedom of Information Act request show that the number of children who the government is aware have escaped from sex traffickers has grown by 426% since 2020.”

“President Biden and Vice President Harris have left Congress in the dark for the entirety of their administration and lost track of tens of thousands of vulnerable migrant children in the process,” Grassley said in a statement.

“Grassley said HHS has also refused to cooperate with subpoenas in a child sex trafficking investigation he ran based on information from agency whistleblowers.”

“Last month, a group of Republican senators wrote that “Even as the trafficking business and the number of children entering the U.S. surged, HHS ORR cut back significantly on background checks and vetting procedures to speed up the process, despite knowing children were being trafficked through HHS ORR’s UAC program.”

Why do you think the current administration has changed it’s policies to eliminate DNA testing of these guardians or “sponsors”? Or the fact that there is no additional welfare checks done on these children. Would that lead these children into dangerous situations? Read the full news story below.
