Nick Fuentes is a podcaster and a figure in American politics, known for his far-right views and extreme commentary.

As a political commentator and livestreamer, he has built a dedicated following while sparking intense controversy.

Who Is Nick Fuentes?

Nicholas Joseph Fuentes, born on August 18, 1998, in La Grange Park, Illinois, is a 26-year-old far-right political commentator and internet personality.

Raised in a suburban Chicago household by his parents, William and Lauren Fuentes, he has Mexican descent through his father. Fuentes attended Lyons Township High School, where he was active in student politics, serving as student council president.

He briefly studied international relations and politics at Boston University but dropped out in 2017 after his freshman year, citing safety concerns after attending the controversial Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Fuentes began his career in high school, hosting a local radio and TV show with moderate conservative views.

His shift to far-right extremism came later, particularly after launching his livestream show, America First with Nicholas J. Fuentes, in 2017.

He now leads the “America First” movement, which emphasizes nationalist and traditionalist ideologies, and has a following known as “Groypers,” who promote his ultra-conservative, white nationalist agenda.

Controversial Thoughts and Points

Fuentes’ views have drawn widespread criticism for promoting hate and extremism. Here are his most controversial stances:

  • White Nationalism: Fuentes advocates for preserving a white, Christian demographic in America, supporting the “Great Replacement” theory, which claims immigration policies threaten white populations.
  • Antisemitism: He has made antisemitic remarks, including Holocaust denial and claims of Jewish control over media, government, and society. In a 2021 InfoWars debate, he argued Jews have no place in Western civilization due to their non-Christian faith.
  • Misogyny: Fuentes has made derogatory comments about women, notably his 2024 tweet, “Your body, my choice. Forever,” mocking feminist slogans. He identifies as an “incel” (involuntary celibate) and has claimed rape is “not a big deal.”
  • Racism: He has used racial slurs, including the N-word, on his show and defended segregation, stating it was “better” for Black Americans.
  • Homophobia: Fuentes opposes LGBTQ rights, advocating for traditional gender roles based on his self-described traditionalist Catholic beliefs.
  • Anti-Immigration: He calls for strict immigration policies, arguing non-white immigration dilutes American culture.
  • Holocaust Denial: Fuentes has questioned the Holocaust happening, comparing it to “six million batches of cookies,” a statement that drew widespread condemnation.
  • Support for Authoritarianism: While recently distancing himself from autocracy, Fuentes has historically praised authoritarian regimes for aligning with his cultural conservatism.
  • Criticism of Israel: He opposes U.S. support for Israel, tying it to antisemitic narratives about foreign influence.

A real quote from Fuentes that encapsulates his provocative style: “America will cease to exist as a Christian nation if it loses its white demographic core and if it loses its faith in Jesus Christ.”

Why the Controversy?

His antisemitic, racist, and misogynistic rhetoric has been condemned by organizations like the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), which labels him a white nationalist, and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), which highlights his Holocaust denial and hate speech.

His comments have incited online harassment, notably after his “Your body, my choice” post led to a 4,600% spike in similar phrases online, targeting women.

Fuentes’ actions have real-world consequences.

In November 2024, his address was publicly leaked after his misogynistic tweet, leading to an activist, Marla Rose, confronting him at his Berwyn, Illinois, home.

Fuentes allegedly pepper-sprayed her, resulting in a misdemeanor battery charge. On December 18, 2024, a gunman, John Lyons, allegedly targeted Fuentes’ home after committing a triple homicide, though police killed Lyons before he reached Fuentes.

These incidents highlight the strong reactions his views provoke.

He was linked to Trump in 2022, when Fuentes unexpectedly showed up to Trump’s dinner party in Mar-a-Lago.

Ties to Kanye West

Kanye West was invited to Trump’s estate in 2022 and Kanye brought along a few surprise guests, with Fuentes being one of them.

Afterwards, Trump posted on social media regarding the Fuentes visit:

Trump posted on Truth Social, stating, “Kanye West very much wanted to visit Mar-a-Lago. Our dinner meeting was intended to be Kanye and me only, but he arrived with a guest whom I had never met and knew nothing about,” referring to Fuentes.

Where and When to Watch America First

Fuentes hosts America First with Nicholas J. Fuentes, a livestream show where he discusses politics, culture, and his far-right views.

The show airs regularly, often at 9 PM Central Time, though specific schedules can vary. Check his current platform, Rumble, for updates on air times.

You can watch on:

  • Rumble: Fuentes’ primary platform, where he has 118,000 followers. Visit rumble.com/c/NicholasJFuentes for recent episodes.
  • Cozy.tv: An alternative platform he created for far-right content after facing bans elsewhere.

Platforms Banned and Why

Fuentes has been banned from numerous platforms for violating hate speech policies. These include:

  • YouTube: Terminated in 2020 for hate speech, including antisemitic and racist content.
  • Twitter/X: Banned multiple times, though briefly reinstated in May 2024 before being suspended again for antisemitic posts.
  • Twitch: Banned for hate speech, with even other streamers, like Steven “ enfranchised to discuss politics.
  • DLive: Suspended after the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack for inciting violence.
  • Facebook, Instagram, Airbnb, PayPal, Venmo: Banned for hate speech and extremist content.
  • Rumble: Temporarily suspended in July 2023 for “holy war” rhetoric deemed incitement to violence, though he remains active there.

These bans stem from his consistent violation of platform policies against hate speech, incitement, and harassment, pushing him to alternative platforms like Rumble and Cozy.tv.

More Important Information

  • Political Influence: Fuentes founded the America First Political Action Conference (AFPAC) in 2020, a far-right alternative to CPAC, attracting young conservatives and extremists. He has influenced the “Groyper” movement, which disrupts mainstream conservative events to push white nationalist ideas.
  • January 6 Involvement: Fuentes attended events preceding the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack and was subpoenaed by the House committee investigating it, though he wasn’t charged.
  • Net Worth: Estimated at $1-2 million, Fuentes earns from livestream donations, merchandise, and speaking engagements, despite financial bans from services like PayPal.
  • Recent Legal Issues: Beyond the battery charge, Fuentes claims to face ongoing threats, including being on a federal no-fly list and having his bank account frozen, though these claims are unverified.
  • Cultural Impact: Fuentes targets Generation Z with ironic humor, making his extremist views more palatable to young audiences. His influence worries critics who see him radicalizing young conservatives online.

Another real quote from Fuentes, reflecting his combative style: “I will be responding to Tucker’s cowardly accusations about me on my show tonight. Bringing all the receipts for an in-depth analysis of who Tucker Carlson really is.”

Nick Fuentes is a controversial figure whose views on race, religion, gender, and immigration have made him a lightning rod for criticism.

His antisemitic, racist, and misogynistic rhetoric has led to bans from major platforms like YouTube, Twitter, and Twitch, pushing him to Rumble and Cozy.tv, where he hosts America First.

While Fuentes maintains a loyal following, his actions continue to fuel debates about free speech, extremism, and online radicalization.
