Here it is, the updated election prediction results for October 21, 2024. 226 Electoral votes for the Democrats and 219 Electoral votes for the Republican. 

These numbers are calculated before the swing states are taken into account. So The grey states in the above photo are the make, or break states for Trump and Harris. Who do you think will win? 

Well, it takes 270 electoral votes to win the presidential election. What are electoral votes? They are the votes casted by your state electoral government, what is this based on? 

It’s based on how your state votes, either for Democrats or Republicans. If more of your state’s votes are Democratic, then your state electoral will be for Democrats. If more people in your state vote Republican, then the electoral vote for your state will be for the Republicans.

Whichever party reaches 270 electoral votes, is the party that wins the 2024 election. 

Here are the results of national and local polls conducted. According to this, Harris is in the lead by a 1.5% point.
