Bondi, 59, will be tasked with refocusing “the DOJ to its intended purpose of fighting Crime, and Making America Safe Again,” Trump said in a statement.
“Bondi has worked as a prosecutor for more than 18 years, according to her profile page at the Ballard Partners lobbying firm, where she now works, and served as Florida’s attorney general from 2011 to 2019 and was a part of Trump’s legal team during his 2020 impeachment trial”, according to Forbes.
