
Before the highly anticipated matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, President Donald Trump arrived at the venue about an hour prior to kickoff.
For the first time in history, a sitting president attended the Super Bowl, marking a significant moment at the Caesars Superdome during Super Bowl LIX.
He took the time to engage with fans, greeting them with waves and handshakes, including a encounter with Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones.
Trump also joined a meet-and-greet session with this year’s honorary coin toss participants, which included family members of the victims from the New Year’s attack in New Orleans, local police officers, and other emergency responders.
Following these interactions, he headed to his private suite.
As the National Anthem played, Trump, along with Lara Trump, Jeff Landry, Prince Albert II of Monaco, Ivanka Trump, Michael Waltz, and Eric Schmitt stood together, showing unity at this historic event on February 9, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Travis Kelsey, Kansas City Chiefs tight end, said it was an honor to have Trump attend the game.
The game ended with the Philadelphia Eagles winning with a final score of; 22 – 40
Trump watched most of the game and was seen leaving the game around 8:00 pm
