Selena Gomez crying on her social media over illegal immigration deportations; statistics and arrests of deportations so far.

On Monday January 27th, actress and producer Selena Gomez posted a video on Instagram of herself crying over the deportations of illegal migrants. She is also stating “Im sorry” in her video. The video clip was deleted on the same day it was posted, assumingly by Selena.

In the video below, Gomez is allegedly upset about the mass illegal migrant deportations that are occuring in the United States. So far, ICE has arrested thousands of illegal migrants, including criminals, sex and drug traffickers along with violent gang members.

Beginning Thursday, Jan. 23, ICE has started reporting daily U.S. statistics for arrests and detainers lodged of illegal migrants.

What are detainers? These are occurrences where ” ICE can then take custody of the non-citizen and transfer them to immigration custody for deportation proceeding” (www.ilrc.com)

Here are the numbers:

Jan. 23: 538 arrests, 373 detainers lodged

Jan. 24: 593 arrests, 449 detainers lodged

Jan. 25: 286 arrests, 421 detainers lodged

Jan. 26: 956 arrests, 554 detainers lodged
