This article describes Trump’s statement about the actions that he will take after his inauguration on January 20th.
On Monday, Trump has stated that he is going to put Tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China, until they stop smuggling in fentanyl, other deadly drugs and illegal immigrants. He stated that unknown to us, and most Americans, China has been smuggling drugs that are deadly, such as fentanyl, into the United States for years, with the help of Canada
Mexico is well known now, for drug smuggling and illegal immigration as well.
Trump stated that he wants to put an end to this by imposing tariffs on these three countries until they stop these illegal activities against the United States. Trump stated that most og these deadly illegal drugs are coming from ocean cargo freights and air crafts.
Do you think Trump is doing the right thing, by informing the United States population how out of control the illegal drug smuggling and illegal immigration really is? He is informing the public about what is really happening in our country. What is your opinion on his statement and Tariffs?
Here is part of Trump’s Move 5th acceptance speech and details about his future plans;
“We will make America safe, strong, prosperous, powerful, and free again.
And I’m asking every citizen all across our land to join me in this noble and righteous endeavor. That’s what it is. It’s time to put the divisions of the past four years behind us. It’s time to unite, and we’re gonna try. We’re gonna try. We have to try. And it’s gonna happen. Success will bring us together.”
This quote below is a statement the President Elect Trump made on Truth Social.com this Monday;
He started out by saying, that as “everyone knows thousands of of illegal (migrants) are pouring through Mexico and Canada”.
“Right now a Caravan coming from Mexico, composed of thousands of people, seems to be unstoppable in its quest to come through our currently Open Border,” he wrote. “On January 20th, as one of my many first Executive Orders, I will sign all necessary documents to charge Mexico and Canada a 25% Tariff on ALL products coming into the United States, and its ridiculous Open Borders.”
“This Tariff will remain in effect until such time as Drugs, in particular Fentanyl, and all Illegal Aliens stop this Invasion of our Country!” he added. “Both Mexico and Canada have the absolute right and power to easily solve this long simmering problem.”
“And until such time that they do, it is time for them to pay a very big price!”
“Until such time as they stop, we will be charging China an additional 10% Tariff, above any additional Tariffs, on all of their many products coming into the United States of America,”, stated Trump.
Fentanyl and opioids have been becoming a large cause of deaths in the U.S for the last several years.
